Meridiem Seeds, the only seed developer in
The Traditom Project
The TRADITOM project aims to provide farmers with new versions of the varieties traditionally grown in each area, but improving productivity, resistance to diseases while maintaining all their flavor and other sensory characteristics so appreciated by the consumer.
Scientists from eight countries, including Spain, Germany, the Netherlands or the United Kingdom, more than 15 institutions such as the Higher Council for Scientific Research or the University of Valencia in Spain, other universities (Nottingham, Jerusalem), the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Italy , the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique in France or the Aristotle University in Greece, are involved in this research.
In addition to these and other institutions, Meridiem Seeds is the only seed house involved in the project.
